Etsy Shop!
I have always wanted to create my own shop and I am now finally releasing my online shop on etsy in about 1 week! Super excited to share my handmade creations! The accessories I make can be dressed up or down, either for everyday, or even a special occasion. My shop is inspired by a mix of current trends in Tokyo and Paris. A little bit of "kawaii" and "tu es mignonne!"

I feel like a pro....
Whenever I use my mum's Nikon, I just feel like a pro photographer, even though I am nowhere even near that title. (lol)
I think this pic is pretty cool, because the camera is focused while I'm in the background, slightly blurred.
okayy, bai bai for now. ^^

Lovin this Headband (very hipster)
Just wanted to post some pics on this rad headband/headpiece I got at a vendor at Abbot Kinney during spring break. This is long overdue, but better late than never.
This headband is handmade by a very talented lady, who can often be seen around Melrose flea market stands. "Bowjie" is what her brand is called. Wanna check out her pieces, the link is below: http://www.bowjie.com/Bowjie/Bowjie_Headbands_Hair_Bows_and_Ribbons.html
Cecil McBee Inspired Headpiece
So I was browsing through my Seventeen (Japanese version) magazine (April edition), and I saw that that the featured clothing, was from CECIL McBEE, a very famous fashion company in Japan, catered towards girls in their teens, twenties, and thirties. Her spring line inspired me to make a floral headband!

Deco-den & kawaii dogs

As promised, here are a few pics of some deco-den I have recently done. I find that unlike the Japanese completely bling-blinged out stuff that are super cute, a more subtle approach is also very cute. ^_^
Shown I have 2 heart boxes and a plastic container, most of which have been covered by "whipped cream." (+ Madi & Jack - the two cutie kanines)

Been a while...
Its been quite some time since my last post. Boyyy, does time fly fast. :O
These past few months I have been leaving my sewing machine lonely because I have been so busy screenprinting tshirts and now, lately into Deco-den(ing)! (Japanese kawaii decorating - cell phones, ipods, etc)
Will post pics on that tmrw =)

how to make a bubble bow skirt!

(sorry, no actual pic, but the pic above will be the result)
Materials:
- sewing necessities
- elastic
- scrap fabric (to make bow)
- stretch knit fabric
1. Cut a piece of fabric to go around your waist (with sewing allowance) and however long you want it to be.
2. sew each of the ends together on the reverse side of the actual print pattern
3. fold 1 inch of the bottom up and sew (to create a casing to slip the elastic through to create that "bubble" effect) make sure to leave a little space not sewed where you can slip the elastic through
4. run the elastic through the casing (tip: use a safety pin at the end to go through the casing easily)
5. sew the ends of the casing and the elastic
6. flip the skirt inside out
7. Pretty much done! now you can just hand sew a bow where u like! ^_^
